tonneau cover under hardtop
I was thinking of doing the same thing. Tonneau covers dont cost much so if u do destroy it u can get another one. Might do it this weekend...or just remove the soft top entirly. So like the man said if someone did do this please post some pics!
funny story about tonneau covers, nobody really uses them much, I just bought one for 70 bucks from here for the same reason , to put under my OEM hard top to give that finished look. I would post pics but hrad top is 7 days away and counting. Anyway I was looking for some good floor mats and made my way to Rick's, they are selling new tonneau covers for ONLY $849.00!!!!! I almost shit. It really pays to be a member of S2Ki!!!!!

other than that I would most definitely agree with u. It is best of both worlds to have a hard top and soft top!
