hi S2ki family, i was recently was doing something which needed me to remove my cup holder console. upon doing so i notice this piece had fell off. i know it goes right in the middle of that slot but what orientation does it go in and what is the function of this piece. thanks in advances and sorry it i posted in the wrong thread.

Yes, but how is the orientation?also I tried all different positions it does not lock in or help spring the cup holder back.
