Default Whats this green connector?

So under my cup holder I have a green connector that is not connected to anything...does anyone know what is it for and if it should be connected to anything? Also where is the module for the keyless entry in MY00? my remotes aren't programming or working.

I think that green plug is for the optional factory alarm.

The ECU/Immobilizer is on the center tunnel in the passenger footwell.

Well, perhaps that is the reason why my alarm doesn't work now, guess the shop didn't reconnect it.

I believe the remote unit is under the drivers seat.

The green connector underneath the center console on the 00-01 cars and is the plug in for the OEM Hardtop defroster button.
