Who is interested in joining the caravan? I figure that there will be at least six spots that the people could join the caravan and should be of impressive size by the time we leave San Luis Obispo for the run up PCH to Monterey. Tentative meet points and times are:

Phoenix: am on Saturday
San Diego: 6:30am on Sunday
West LA: 9am
Camarillo or Ventura: 10am
Santa Barbara: 11am
San Luis Obispo: 1pm (lunch in SLO or Morro Bay)

With lunch, and sight-seeing stops, that should put us in Monterey about 5 or 6pm.

If anyone thinks that there needs to be other meet points, or the times need to be adjusted, please chime in. The exact meet points will be determined after we see where everyone is coming from.

As you know Team Irvine is definitely in for a caravan. In my opinion, it seems like it might be more efficient to have SD people meet up in West LA and the Phoenix caravan skip SD as it is a little more south than necessary. Unless of course, there was sightseeing to do.

Thanks for getting all of the rolling, S2WOOOW.

I probably agree with Steve; San Diego and LA are about the same distance from Phoenix. If we meet everyone in LA, it will save us a couple of hours of driving. On the other hand, it would be nice to meet more of the SD guys, expecially if we can organize a night out or something.

Let me poll everybody before we make a decision.

You won't be able to sleep the night before, so what's the difference. The anticipation will be too much. I figure that getting up 90 minutes earlier will be worth beating the 5/405 traffic.

Hey guys....just a quick word to say that this it is really cool that you guys are all convoying up for the event. It excites me that something that we have done has generated so much interest and that people are willing to drive from as far as away as Texas and Chicago for this event. Damn!

I wish I could drive my car out there for this, but I don't see it happening as it won't allow me any track time...too busy doint other stuff. All work and no play makes Greg a dull boy...

But for me, it's a honor to be a part of something that so many are finding such happiness in. That is a very cool feeling...!

I am part of Team Irvine and I plan to get the word out about this caravan to make it historic. Shooting for at least 100 S2000 but wishing it to be 300. What a sight to behold. It will generate a lot of press that for sure.
Let's make it happen. Trying to get Burt and Ryan from Velocity Magazine to cover the event and spread the word.

Wish for 300 and mass confusion but realistically I am sure that we will probably hit close to 100 S2000 with straglers -NSX, Integras, Civics, etc..
