Wow, what a day! We had a great time and thanks to TS Barry for leaving us alone. Ditto Larry on the sore butt and add some sunburned cheeks, but weel worth it for a day on the twisties. Hopefully next time we can avoid the tractors and a**hole Pony drivers.
A big thanks to Wynn for leading us around. It was very nice to meet everyone and we both look forward to doing it again soon.
PS - and yeah Venom, I'm glad you brake as well as you drift!

Ive been working on a new route northeast of where we went last time and will probably scout it this weekend.
I just got back into town from Washington DC where I met the VA-DC-MD crew. hey had about 20 cars for thier event. My father and I went over at their meeting place in his 01 330ci. It looked like they had a nice route for the day and we wanted badly to tag along to feel the torque of the inline 6 coming out of the sharp turns, but had plans.
Talk about twistie hilly roads.....that is the place! Those cats are pretty wild, last run they lost a car to a telephone pole (and electric wires), this run they lost one to a tree. There are some nice pics on their thread if you want to check it out.
It just reminds me that restraint is the key on runs like this. Driving above realistic limits should be saved for a track day. $225 for a track day is a small price to pay to have some run off area if you misjudge a bit. Beats bending up your ride or killing a minivan full of people.
Im ready for another vtec and twistie fix. I remember wei-shen talking about a september meet, as was warpspeed. Im cool for september!
But, can you wait that long?
