If rain stopos and weather clears I will be there from Sarasota on Sunday morning. I think there will be a few cars from Sarasota-Bradenton area.
See you guys at 10 on Sunday.

If it looks like rain on Sunday would you folks like to reschedule or have a rain plan? (Daytona USA attraction or the like)
We'll keep an eye on the weather and hope the sky rains itself out.

If weather is bad I suggest we reschedule another weekend day for our meet.
Two of us from Sarasota will be there unless weather is bad.

Unless it is raining, you can expect my wife and I. I have two Motorola Talkabouts that we will bring. Just in case something comes up here is my cell # 813-340-6764

If the weather doesn't cooperate, I'm for rescheduling too. However, if it's nice on Sunday, I plan to drive down from Jax to meet up w/ you guys (and gals).

If it is rain - I'm in for rescheduling too. Can someone from Orlando post the conditions tonight?

Hello friends,

Weather here in orlando was very overcast during the morning and sunny from 11am to now (1:50pm on Saturday). The forecast is calling for scattered showers tomorrow. I will check the satellite today and tonight.
So lets confirm that this run is a go by 10pm tonight, OK?

If we are go,

Warpspeed, shall we convoy from the same spot as last time?

If the weather looks bad we will reschedule.
In the event you folks are coming in from out of town and hit bad weather, call me at the cell number in the above post.

Winn, you're gonna kill me but I can't make it tommorrow... We are putting our house up for sale on monday and I need tommorrow to get it all dialed in; shampoo carpets, paint, pack, etc. I'd much rather be with my fellow stookers but just can't do it this time. Have fun and be sure to let me know how it went.

Orlando Weather report....

I just drove about half of our twistie route for tomorrow and ran out of light to finish it up, but there was rain on and off from east orlando (5:00pm) where I live>>>>>over to the west side and thru the twisties (7:15 pm).
Weather was great until about 4:30pm and the rains began, but up to then it was perfect.

The forecast for tomorrow is possible scattered showers with more chance of showers as the day progesses. Looks like they call for clearing conditions as the week progresses.

I will turn on my cell early tomorrow morning (407-925-7488) if you want to give me a ring if your weather looks rough.
I would not be offended if we had to reschedule as I dont drive my s2k in the rain. Although, I would sure hate to miss catching up with you folks and having a great drive.

Warp thats a bummer, but depending on the weather you may not miss anything.

Wynn

Just watched the Orlando forecast and it wasn't too good. Predicting "Clouds & Sun: Rain & Storms Likely"

I'm new to the forum and just noticed this thread late tonight. I'm very glad to see some activity here in Central Florida. I've been in dire need of some good twisty road driving--seems to be in very short supply in this area. Have found a couple of short stretches, one of which is, I think, where you're going tomorrow. If the weather changes for the better, I'll try to hook up with you tomorrow. If not, maybe we can set something up for the near future.
