I might actually be able to make this... my plans for this evening got moved up about 3 hours! Mmmmm beer, caviar, Speedvision.... and all that apathetic service from those skinny european waitresses! Can't wait. Harry might be asleep on the bar just waiting for his second drink! Um- ooops, was that a rant???

So anyway, Hugh, tell your wife that she won't have to be the only s2k chick there

-juliann - I don't have a middle name but debauchery seems to work just fine

Thanks to all of ya for showing me a good time in the not-so-windy-but-oh-so-hot-and-humid-city. It was great to see people like Juliann, Jason, Brad and Harry again. Pete, Scot and Jim--it was great meeting you as well.

Heck, I even enjoyed seing meat for the first time since Asheville.

If there is one thing I have learned from my brief stopover at the Players Club it's that
  1. Euro is good
  2. Escargot should only be eaten by a trained professional
  3. When Harry asks if I would like to share a little brie, I should politely decline (I came to this conclusion very early this morning.

I would also be remiss if I didn't thank Greg for being my oh so gracious host this week. He dragged me kicking and screaming to some great watering holes and we got to experience what had to be one of the best endings to a baseball game EVER. Hopefully I didn't pull you away from too much work or keep you from your harem of psychos.

If any of you all are ever in DC or vicinity give me a hollar.

Hey, I've seen you since Asheville - at your Japan tour stop-over.

Thanks for keeping your pants on last night - I know I wanted to take mine off....

How quickly I forget. Then again there is precious little I remember from that night.

I thought it best for all involved that I keep my pants on, but if that waitress wanted to witness the awesome power of the LeSabre (did I mention it's not a two-seater) I could have compromised my principals slightly.

Damn right!

I'm glad I got to witness first hand the awesome splendor that is the Players Club (Greg knows exactly what I am talking about) Thanks for letting the wannabe join in the fun.

Next time Juliann offers to give me window seat facing the bar so that I can witness the splendor I won't be so timid and worried about appearances.

SoloVR6 (just prior to inserting the famed escargot): "It's just a mushroom."

SoloVR6 (just after putting it in his mouth and grimacing): "Oh, noooo, it's not a mushroom."

Truly, one of the funniest moments at ANY VOTA Racing/Chicago 7 meeting. For our next trick, we will need to have him try sea urchin to see his reaction...and for that, I"ll make sure to bring my video camera!!

And Edith, oh my lord...what a piece of sculpture that woman is. I'll not soon forget that glance we got.

Signing off, Greg...(remembering how white they actually were...makes me do this ------> )
