Good luck with your runs. I Hope you do low 13s and even high 12s. Are you going to launch aggressively or just idle it?

But...I really meant that I'm getting the clutch disk replaced, not the clutch plate.

It's being serviced for the clutch disk rattle.
I don't need a break in time for that right?

Well i was speaking of the disk. The disk has the friction material on it. I know this because i had the unfortunate experience of going through a clutch in 2 weeks on a DSM i used to own. The thing just broke to pieces thanks to the AWD system and piles of torque. Combine that with 6000 RPM no wheel spin launches and

Make sure you let it wear-in gradually, get some miles and heat cycles, you might not have fun now, but it will last longer and grip better during its lifetime.

His advice is good, take out as much as you can and run with less then a 1/4 tank of gas. As for grip, i am guessing houston has crazy hot weather now. I sugges you put the tire pressures UP, since on the stook, our problem is TOO much grip on a hot day and not Too little grip. Start of at about 38 psi, if you arn't bogging down and you are also getting too much wheelspin, take 2 psi from the rears out and so on...

Good luck.
Great advice Sev! thanks! i'm gonna do that stuff.. incase i end up running it.

Wesmaster: Do you know how much it cost to run? and can you email directions.. kirk_ballou@hotmail.com.. i lucked out.. i live in crosby 5min from baytown just i don't know where anything is around here. i'll email you my cell# too.
