September 29th..BBQ at Shinestreet.
Ryan,
Thanks for organizing the event. I had a good time and it was great seeing the other cars there, expecially that NSX.
Escalvante - Glad to see that you were alright. Sorry to see the M Roadster get banged up. Let us know how things go with it.
Pernforhire - that road we weer on was perfect for a little fun. If you didn't see it, Prolene and I did a little roll-on comparison. I was surprised at the results, but we only got as high as 2nd gear.
Douglas - Where is that parking lot located?? It looks like a good area to get a group together and go for a run.
I saw the accident happen in my rear view mirror. I was the one leading everyone and I couldn't tell where the road was going since all I saw was a wall in front of me. I saw that it was a 90 degree turn so I slowed down a lot. I think Henry was behind me and took a more aggressive line once he knew which direction the road was going. I think the M roadster tried the same thing, but got into the dirt. When I first heard the tires squealing, I thought he was drifting around the corner, I was thinking, cool M roadster drifting. Then when I saw him start fishtailing, I thought, OH NO!!!! Just glad that he was alright. I hope we never see anything like that again on one of our drives.
By the way, happy birthday SteveUCI
(those that went to eat at King's will get that one).
