How far are you guys willing to drive? I have driven some of the roads listed on the Great Ontario Biking Roads website, http://www3.sympatico.ca/elhum/, and they are pretty decent. Check it out.

I was thinking a tour of the Forks of the Credit region. How does that sound to everyone?

 

Forks of the credit is perfect. I love that drive. Unfortunatly I always get lost trying to get there.
Last summer we met at the Wendy's at Hwy 10 and Britannia. It was a pretty good spot to meet.
So this might be a plan.
Rob do you know the route? if so, I think we will need your navigational skills

 

Well, I think I know the route resonably well. Do you guys have those little Motorola walkie talkies? I've got two around that I will try to locate tomorrow.

Let me do some planning tomorrow as well.

I may not be able to stay for the entire event on Saturday but I'll at least make a point of showing up to meet you guys. If anyone wants to meet on Friday night instead, just speak up. That would work for me as well.

As for Paul, last I heard he's been really busy. I'll send him an email today.

Also the run thru the credit isn't all that long. 2-3 hours is more then enough. If we met at 12 that would be plenty of time.

Yeah I haven't really been around the board much. Since our meet, which was pretty much the end of last seasons good weather, I asked a question a couple months ago about roll bars and that was it until the other day (when we all had our cars out for 3 days straight). I've been pretty busy with work and building motorsports sites, materials and the related tools for this season. So I was able to get my fill, but sadly it was mostly directed towards BMW's.

Plus with the weather was all crappy... it hurt to talk about the car.

I don't see why I can't make it...although if it's pissing down rain, or minus whatever windchill, I may still attend for "lunch", but there's a good chance I'd forego the run (I really hate driving the S with the top up... kinda like caging an animal)

I'm not one to turn down a calm or mild day for some time in the S.. course, I'm not one to turn down dry roads as an excuse to drive the S either.

SATURDAY SATURDAY saturday... 12:00pm, March 31st @ Wendy's @ Hwy 10 and Britannia.

Alright, it seems most people don't have a problem with Saturday then. I'll send out some Emails and we can all meet. I'm with you in that I don't like driving my car in the shitty weather, But even lunch and a get together would be fun.
