Hmmmmm.

Thanks for the message, Mike!

I have to be in the office until about 1pm on Saturday (unavoidable). Maybe I can swing by where you guys are afterwards.

I've had the Stook out 3 times already... Like being with an old flame!!

Needed to replace the battery though (on warranty)

Ron

I've been keeping an eye on the Weather network lately, I've noticed that they are forcasting an 80% chance of snow and rain, with a high of 4 degrees. Do doubt a nasty windchill as well. What do you guys think?

I think if I were a meterologist I'd have to shoot myself for being off the mark so much.

The weather yesterday said it'd be 7/8 and sunny, now today it's 4 and rainy. I'd say at least give it till Friday afternoon before cancelling.

Environment Canada says "Cloudy with sunny periods. Low near minus 3. High near 4." <- nothing about rain or snow.

However TWN says a high of 5, cloudy with showers (60%). I'd like it if we gave the weather a chance and didn't change plans until Friday afternoon/evening. That might still scare a few others off to make other plans, but what are you gonna do?

I don't think we should cancel just yet. The weather is pretty unpredictable this time of year, as you can see from how many times the forecast has changed so far.

Let's keep to the plan for now.

By all means lets keep it a go for now, Just don't beat me if I show up in my Accord
I'm hoping they are wrong. Even if it's like today it would not be to bad.

it's alright if you show up in your accord...

guys who come without there stooks buys a round!...

i figure we either drive around like giddy little boys allowed to finally play with their new toys or we get drunk like old men, who can't play with their toys...

either way, it's a win win situation to me!!!...

Well here's the latest on tomorrows weather... (yes I'm jumping the gun a little (only 11am right now))

From Environment Canada
Cloudy with periods of light wet snow possibly mixed with rain. Wind northeast 20 km/h. Cool. High near plus 2.

From The Weather Network
Mainly Cloudy, High of 5, Low of 0, POP 40%

From The Star
Snow, high of 2, Low -3.

'tis not looking good.

Okay, as best as I can tell, we may catch the tail of a Noreaster that is currently hammering Maine and Vermont with a foot of snow.

If you guys want, we can move the meet to next Saturday, same place, same route, in hopes of more pleasant weather.

I know it's short notice, but what does everybody think?

Ya that's looking a little nasty, Maybe we should cancel and wait for next week. I know on tuesday its getting up to 10c so maybe thats a step in the right direction. I was out today and my back end was all over the place. Soon as I hit Vtech, Boom nice back slide. Let me know what you guys think. Way I figure it is if were all gonna get together and have fun with out cars, it might as well not be SNOWING

I'll check first thing tommorow, to see if it's a go or not.

Mike
