** Has anyone debadged their Invidia Exhaust? **
I am deciding on purchasing an Invidia Q300 exhaust, however the only thing that gets to me about this exhaust is that Invidia slapped their logo right in the middle of the piping.
For the people out there with an Invidia exhaust (V1,2,3,4), does anyone know if it is safe to remove the Invidia logo plate which sits in the Y junction of the exhaust? Is it there just for decoration or does it serve a structural purpose?
I don't want to have the plate removed then have the exhaust crack on me
Any insight on this would be appreciated!!

hmmm, let me look at mine this evening. I cant remember how substantial the welds are, but I would imagine it is ok, but maybe not. How about cutting out the letters to just leave a basic frame there? So you would have a rectangle in the middle, but no name. It would just look more like a functional piece than a name badge.

I agree. Or you can cut off the name plate and weld another plate there.
I can sneak down at lunch and look at mine. I think the way the rear hangers are you will be fine just ditching it all together.

OK, after looking at the piece, I wouldn't cut it off. It welded on so well, I have to think it may at least help a little bit. I say you cut the center out so it just looks like a brace.

Okay thanks for your time n effort checking for me, I appreciate it. I think will go with the cut out lettering idea you suggested, didn't think of that one, and sounds like the most effective way to debadge without weakening the structure of the exhaust.

Can you even see the nameplate when driving behind the car? I'd cover it up with another piece of metal instead of trying to cut it off.
