Default 06 ecu to 04 s2k

I have an 04 S2000 and was wandering can I put an 06 S2000 ecu to get the flash pro from Hondata. My 04 has an AEM EMS and can't pass emissions with it so I have to buy a stock ecu and get it tuned for Force Induction and I heard the flash pro will pass emissions so. InlinePro also said that if I just change the ECU back to stock along with the injectors it will pass as long I have a catalytic converter and no CEL but I figured that the turbo kit will throw a CEL with the stock ECU and injectors and even if it doesn't the car will not run right anyway because I will not be getting enough fuel, which I don't mind because I live about 2 miles from the inspection center. Mainly I need to know if I can put an 06 S2000 ecu in an 2004 which I know the crank sensor and a few other sensors are different from the 2004-2005 model.

short answer = no. 06+ is DBW. you would have to convert to DBW to make it work.

do what inline pro says and stay out of boost when you do it.

by the time you convert your car over to DBW (new ecu, TB, various sensors, wiring harness, maybe even have to convert to a returnless fuel system) it would probably have been cheaper to just go with the full blown Kpro.

the bummer is kpro is not emissions approved 100%. when they scan the obd2 port, i belive it comes up as a rsx, which the s2k is obviously not. also not sure what happens about the vin numbers stored in there.

inlinepro's way is 100%. just pita.

you can do return fuel system for dbw car, but you would have to change
ecu
tb
intake mani
some sensors
gas pedal assembly
might be some stuff in head IE sensors that need to be changed
blah blah

F that.

I wonder what the cost would come out to, but most definitely well over what KPRO is.
