you can find NGK heat range 8 plugs, I know they are available and others have used them on this forum. Try a search the part numbers escape me right now.

I'm surprised your setup is running that lean, these cars run so rich I wouldn't expect that much of a difference. Might consider an adjustable fpr, I don't think plugs will be the answer to your issue, once you get the fuel addressed the stock heat range should be sufficient. Heat=power, if you remove too much heat from the combustion chamber you end up losing power.

Yes those are good ones to go with.

If you want to buy them this seems to be the cheapest place to buy from.
That's where I bought mine from.

I disagree with this. As long as a colder plug doesn't foul out, it's going to provide better performance than a hotter plug. Higher combustion temperature = more power, but higher spark plug tip temperature = greater chance of pre-detonation and more knock retard (less power).

Nothing at all wrong with the Denso's. There was a issue a few years ago where by a few people reported the ceramic insulation cracked but this was traced to incorrect installation. I've run plenty of set of both the Denso and NGK's and never had a problem with either, we just get whichever we can the cheapest.

For the price of the NGK's listed in the above link I would jump at the chance and purchase them without hesitation.
