Default 2 Coilovers-Different Prices!

So what do you guys think...

Should I go with the Buddy RS Damper Kit and save close to $600....

or

Get the KW V3, since it performs a whole lot better?!

I dont really care about the adjustability, just overall performance, also, I love a bumpy ride so that's not an issue.

Thanks for your input!

Also, if anyone has any other suggestions in the $1000 range, that would be great

Don't kid your self.

Based on what you've said (ie: "I like a bumpy ride"), you're not going to be able to tell any difference between the two coilovers riding around on the street. Go with a set that is built solid enough not to fall apart, and you're good to go. No need to spend tons of money on a performance coilover that you're never going to utilize.

I'd go with the KW all day long. But, I'm very skeptical of JDM companies. Quality seems to be hit or miss and I'd certainly trust KW much more.

Give Mike at Innovative Tuning a call and see what he can do for you for price. www.innovativetuning.com

They're great people.

what are you going to use the car for?

from your post I think that you'll be better off saving some money and get the more affordable of the 2

mainly for street cruising, with a seasonal track day.. i just didnt want to pay the extra $$$, unless it was something significantly noticeable..

Def would love to go the KW route...

I'd read through this thread and make your own judgments about how good the KW are. They sound fantastic.

Sounds like the V3s will be overkill. I would go with Bilstein PSS9s. Oh wait, I did

if you think you may get into tracking more in the near future, i would go with the KW's. if not, sounds like the other option may be better for you. however, i dont know how the 2 compare in long term reliability/overall life. my bet would be on KW, which is why i purchased them.
