Default 2 questions! TB? Nitro?

So I was looking at throttle body spacers for a while, waiting for a damn good deal to come up on ebay or something... Then found a 70mm throttle body for pretty cheap new... Would a bigger throttle body do anything if I don't have my manifold port matched to it?

Second - what kind of nitro should I put in IF I decide to run it? How strong? where should I program it to shoot? I was thinking program it into automatically hit at like...3500 or so only when I have it floored or something?

Oh boy... here we go. Throttle bodies wont give you any power unless you port match and have FI. Even then youd get like 4whp.

Its not called Nitro. Its called nitrous. There is tons of information about nitrous on here, type nitrous in the big search box on the top right of the screen. And why would you set it to spray at 3500 on a car thats powerband starts at 6000 and revs to 9000.

It looks like your focused on going fast in a straight line so let me be the first to tell you I think you bought the wrong car. The s2k handles amazingly and can out perform cars with twice as much hp on a road course. Nitrous is horrible on the track since when you go WOT and get a sudden surge of power from nitrous your pretty much guaranteed to spin out mid-turn. If you want to drag race your better off selling the car or upgrading the differential before this. Do tons of reading on this site before you decide on what to do.

ok thanks for the TB info. I know its nitrous but i was in a hurry... I know very well that the s2000 is a track car... I have driven deals gap and run robeling twice... And I would set it up for racing in straight line yes, just like highway stuff. And probably not 3500... probably a little higher. and I would do it to get more power before the power band... I would disconnect it if I were going to be road racing...

Your welcome for being real. So you want a highway racer. Cool. Assuming you redline every gear youll probably never go under 6300ish, so why would you set nitrous any lower? You shouldnt start a race under vtec, nitro or not.

Why not just get a used centrifugal blower that will benefit on the track and highway? Plus youll have the power 24/7. Not just when the nitrous is on.

Look for info on the comptech supercharger. As the rpms increase the boost builds as well. Keeps the same power curve as stock so all the power seems to come on very smooth. No sudden suprises around corners and it comes with about 300whp out the box.
