Default 2JZ engine swap

Hey guys, I was just checking out Supras on ebay and I saw this crazy S2k listed. They said they did a full engine swap, making the car just as fast a a Supra without the weight. How hard do you all think it would be to do it?

There is a guy in Florida that does it. It will cost you about 10 grand, but you are guaranteed a 800+HP car!!! Not bad considering that there are some people who spend much more than that and dont get half that power!! I have an 07 with about 3000 miles... as soon as that engine goes, 2JZ it is!!! The only thing that i am worried about, is drivability. Must be hard to keep that bad boy in a straight line!! Considering it weights less than 3000 pounds with the 2JZ!! There are a few vids on youtube that these guys in Florida put out. Check them out NICE STUFF and looks very clean under the hood and the sound... Just makes you wanna aget it!!

Haha, that's awsome. But you can just buy the engine themselves for $2000?

search 50-50 racing (the company that does the swaps) in the search here. You dont want anything to do with that company.

Last I heard, the guy was about to go to jail for defrauding his customers.

stay away from 50/50 racing, the guy who was doing the swaps was a complete douchebag and ripped tons of people off. He is a wanted man at the moment and when caught will be going to jail. Keep a lookout for Brian Proctor and send his ass to jail. Please dont do it to your car.

lol nice!!i think that the only real custom parts they had was a wire harness converter and a set of engine and tranny mounts. And they were running Skyline rear diffs... The set up is nice but if they are on the wrong foot...... not a good thing!!
