Default 2JZ S2K...

Just picked up an 03 AP1 with a blown motor and am thinking about doing a 2JZ swap just wanted to see if anyone on here has done the swap and could point me in the right direction on what is needed so i can start piecing it together. Thanks

Was going to. I am capable of doing one, but right now I would rather drive my S2000 with a motor then do a 3 year build. Plus I am finishing my my last two years in college. If you want help I would be more then glad to show you things you'll have to do.

probably is going to take me that long too lol but i will be doing this swap in my garage to my extent but i already have a shop that will be doing the motor mounts and driveshaft. so far that gets me from taking the motor out and getting the 2j in place and mounted atleast. from there not sure on what tranny..probably an r154 and a 300zx rear end. harness will be a pita but shouldnt take much more from there i imagine?

btw the ls1 was the other option but $ for $ will end up costing me slightly more and rising gas prices saves me on 2 cylinders hahahahaha

You said it would save you more gas cause it has 2 less cylinders? i believe an LS would save you more than a Single Turbo 2jz considering that EVERYone gets Boost happy. ! I respect Both LS and 2jz

LSX motors get pretty good gas mileage...you aren't going to see much if any difference between it and a 2JZ.

lsx ftw, do an ls6 with ported 243's, long tubes and a 228 cam. Somehow fab a b&b exhaust to it and youll have the sexiest car in your area!

RAW Powered was the place in florida that put the white widebody S2k with the 2J swap making somewhere above 900whp i believe.

Here is what S2Kings F20 did to Raws 2J though
