Having searched around for this part using the now discontinued part number mm057-27-110
I saw on some kia parts sites this part has been replaced by a new part:

0K014-27110

which seems more readily available (in stock on a Korean parts site!!)
my question is, is this the same part?! I am guessing yes but wondered if anyone knows about how the automotive parts business works who can tell me or where I can find out for real. Not sure if I would trust my local Kia dealer in UK to know!

getting hold of this part new seems a better option that sourcing an old kia diff and paying someone to take out the rack n pinion and shotpeen it etc then ship to my local garage for fitting!

i am rebuilding my diff as part of the process of getting a new os giken lsd so thought i’d do the final drive at the same time
