Default 4.77's on DD

My S is my only car/DD. It will see the occasional highway trip, but not highway everyday, mostly city/country driving. I know my highway rpm's will jump up, but do you guys notice a drop in mpg? I ask since gas is getting so expensive, I don't want to lose 3mpg city and 4mpg highway. That's a dealbreaker for me. Other mods include intake/exhaust/test pipe. 2004 AP2. What would be a good price on labor? If the 4.77 is too aggressive i'll just swing for the 4.44.

For an AP2 the 4.77's are waay to short. They already have shorter gearing than an AP1 in 1-4th. Imo 4.44 gears are the best choice for an AP2.

If you want to rip threw the gears then 4.77 is for you, otherwise the 4.56 is a great mid choice but since its not a oem gear, they will be a gear whine which you may or may not find annoying.

Labor is expensive, probably anywhere from 700-1000.

Apparently we've all been told we agree

I won't intrude by voicing a differing opinion
