Default 4 point strut tower brace EBAY

Has any one bought one of these and did it make any difference. do they fit with intakes? I have a FIPK installed on the car now and was thinking of getting this

Doubt it will make any difference but should bolt up most likely. strut bars for this car don't make a difference.

^ Jack in the Box on here had one and it looked really nice. I almost bought it, but I dont think it will work with Moddicitions heatshield. It should work with just about any intake, so I highly doubt you will have any problems with it.

I have looked at that bar as well. I did notice that the car in the ebay pic does not have an intake on it. Hopefully this is just during install

^ You do have to take the intake off to install this bar, so they probably just test fit it, then took it back off. Like I said Jack in the Box on here had one with his OEM airbox and worked fine. So I don't see why many other intakes would have a problem with it.

interesting.. ive read that strut tower braces are minimally advantageous if at all, but since this bolts up to the upper and lower, i would think this might actually be a functional piece.. i suppose my logic could be wrong though.. any thoughts?

It might work a little better then a strut tower since this ties the top and bottom together, but the cars come so reinforced from the factory you'll barely be able to tell.

Yeah strut bars on this car are only good for looking pretty, and for something to lean on when working in the engine bay.
