Default 46 mm itbs

I have an opportunity to get 46 mm itbs. This is somewhat smaller than the standard size offered by the after market manufacturers so I wanted to see if anyone thinks it's a waste of money. It is, however, 2.16 times that of the stock intake area not to mention the effect of unlinking the intake pulses would have. So it seems large enough to me especially for street/mild track purposes.

Does anyone know where I can get an intake flange for relatively cheap?

Post in the Modification or JDM forum. Many ITB knowledgeable folks there.
