Default 5 Point Harness Install

G Force Pro 5 Points with Cam Lock. I have seen a couple really cheesy setups on the stock seats on the forums, and some pretty nice setups. I figured i could pull off a safe, nice setup with the stock seats. Let me know what you guys think

Over the Harness Bar

Some argue the stock seats are not good, I know they are not good as a set of sparcos or brides but the harness sits perfectly over my chest even with the stock seats. No chance of my shoulders going through.

All in all the setup feels really comfortable and tight. With everything strapped down really tight, the submarine strap does not bother my crotch at all

something tells me that your setup looks good, but is not safe.

Shoulder part is what is bothering me the most. I can't quite put it in words? Shoulder straps might have too much play? If you see in aftermarket seats, they have holes for the shoulder straps to go through, so they do not move around? I'm not quite sure.

But it sure does look good. But, do you track or autocross?

how?

the shoulder strap is getting way more movement, you going to need a eye bolt connection or a retainer metal stripe to loop it around.

there's no slot in the stock seat for the couch belt, it suppose to go down instead of wrapping in around your rear end

what the wall thickness on the harness bar?

there is no play in the shoulder straps at all. I have sit in plenty of racing seats with harnesses and besides for the submarine strap it feels exactly the same. Again, the shoulder strap does not move at all. Plenty of my instructors have a wrap around harness in there cars setup the same way as me. I track, not autox.

at least you guys think it looks good
