Default 50% Tint?

Hi all,
Had my windows tinted "54%" recently, but the more I look at it and compare it to cars tinted even darker (35%), it seems too dark.
Shop insists that it was done with the 50%.. and is a pretty reputable place. What do you guys think?

Looks like 20% to me... My S doesn't have tint, but I just got this done: 35 front and 20 rear.

you should compare it with the door opened. s2000 has dark interior, so any tint will appear darker than it would on other car.

that said, yours still look too dark for 50%. maybe it's easier to judge with pictures taken with the door open.

All brands of tint are not equal. One 50% is anothers 35%.....get a cop to check it if bothers you I guess

thanks for the inputs, the shop won't redo it so I'll just leave it as it is.

Tell that shop to go fcuk themselves. U asked for 50%. U get something darker. I'd be down there causing a ruckus until they fixed it

might be due to the small cabin of the s2000, less light gets in so it'll appear darker then say a 4door car.
