Default 6000k LED DRL replacements from Diode Dynamics

Got my set of LED replacements in the mail yesterday and replaced them this evening while drinking my favorite lager. I'm not sure I need to go into how to replace a bulb. Cause if you can't replace a bulb you probably shouldn't worry about it.

Strange how much easier the drivers side is versus the passenger side.

Regardless.... this is a set of 6000K replacements from Diode Dynamics. I'm in KS. They are in MO and holy crap did I get them quick. I swapped them out and the difference is fantastic. I hated the yellow tint to the stock halogen bulbs. Replacing them with the 6000K LED's is a vast improvement. Even though they don't exactly match the HID's it is very difficult to see the difference.

I'm going to order every other LED replacement bulb they offer.

Pic.

But now you have no high beams correct?
I would love it too but I need the high beams driving thru back roads

That is the trade off. I plan to do some more testing on the differences. But the LED replacements certainly don't seem to put out as much usable light as the stockers.

I don't use the high beams as much. So for me it was a definite improvement.

Yes. Plan to figure out the wiring differences tomorrow. Should be a simple fix.

Yeah, that's the only issues with replacement LED bulbs for DRLs. Hopefully its a simple fix.

BTW, I highly recommend the VLEDS V3 Tritons for LED turn signals. Those things are SUPER bright.
