Default 70mm TB and matched IM

Hi all.

I'm swapping engines and was wondering if a 70mm tb is worthy mod, considering it will be a lot easier for me to port match the IM since the engine is out of the car. I have done some research and I am coming across contradictory evidence.

Mind you this will be a 70mm tb with a matched IM on a relatively stock set up. There will also be no tuning in the near future just stock ECU.

Is it worth my time and effort adding a 70mm TB and removing the the IM to port match it?

Anyone with first hand experience please chime in. Anyone that's just going to regurgitate generic information please don't.

Cheers

Without the right size intake pipe to go along with it and some ecu tuning there isn't much of a gain.
