I have an ACT clutch and light weight flywheel. I love it. I am not saying competition or anything else is worse and it might even be better. But I am completely satisfied with my ACT.

Maybe because its more expensive, doesnt include the release bearing (Sold separately) and SOS doesn't have as long enough history in the industry as ACT does.

I've read too many post with guys having crank walk issues and happened to be using Act pressure plates. Whether this is the culprit or not, a overly stiff pressure plate seems like it could be an issue and so I decided to stay clear of Act since there are other options available.
