i went

1wk after i bought my s2k
-k&n intake
-invidia v3 exhaust
-4 new tires

1.5 yrs i got (june 09)
-SoS stg 1
-clutch
-flywheel
-springs

then in feb some new rear tires and upgraded diff. after that i dunno

Got the car used, put a K&N intake after driving the car around for 2 weeks. Now I am going to wait about 20,000 miles for any more mods so I can understand what the car is all about. One thing I am curious about is doing a front sway bar. So far I can kind of see what the turning limits are, but going faster than that just seems stupid in public.

I got AEM V2 intake 1st, then tires after my s02 bald out. If you have the OEM tires then intake, but if you have crappy tires then some good tires is the way to go. I got rid of my invida exhaust after going deaf, but if your young its all good. Test pipe smelled so bad the GF force me to remove it, so it really up to you. Like you stated every mod has a con/pro so its really up to you and what your willing to sacrifice.........only if I was younger I would be sporting all the goodies

imo a fast car can go fast around corners and straights. and since one day you are planning to go turbo/supercharger, you're going to wanna get that power to the ground...i'd start with suspension. i.e. get rid of those springs, go coilovers. and new tires. later you'll probably want to reinforce your differential and then tranny, then you'll be set for that turbo/supercharger. i know you said 1k budget, but it's worth the extra money. especially like iam7head said, close encounters with guard rails.

If you've already set your mind to go boost then it's best to build the car towards that goal...Or build parts that can benefit from going boost. I've so far built my car to go boost but baught 2 mods that I will have to sell when I do go boost...CAI and Dual Exhaust. But love the sound of both @ the moment. I would like to suggest something that no one on here has yet, which is the "Hondata reflash"...Apperantly we have a very conservative tune so it will deffinetely net some gains while you wait for the "good 'ole boost".
