Default AEM Dry Flow Filter.

I am sick and tired of my K&N Oiling. Is there a Dry Flow AEM that will fit in our box that is the same size and won't be smaller since our filters are huge which I am guessing is for a reason?

I've searched and posted this before couple years ago. Just hoping some one is Running the setup by now or knows exact part number.

Check AEM's site. They have Generic filters that you can get with many different neck sizes, diameters, and lengths. Just measure your old k&n and match it.

I am on AEM site and it gave me part number # 21-204DK Which is...
3.5" Dryflow Air Filter Short Neck 5" Element

I think this is for their Intake system and not for stock pipe. Can some one verify the plastic stock intake pipe diameter? I am also shooting for long neck Element, after searching around here I heard some one say they felt as if top end was effected by the shorter filter and problem went away with longer one.

So I need a cone filter with _____"in neck and 7.5" Inch length with no more then Base Outside Diameter of 7 in (178 mm)

Here is the K&N Filter and Specs....

E-2435 Product Specifications
Product Style: Unique Air Filters
Base Outside Diameter: 7 in (178 mm)
Filter Re-Oiling Amount: 1.73 oz (51 ml)
Flange Length: 2.875 in (73 mm)
Flange Type: Centered
Height: 7.563 in (192 mm)
Top Material/Finish: None
Top Outside Diameter: 3.75 in (95 mm) **I hope AEM with 7" all around will fit**
Top Style: Rubber
Weight: 1.9 lb (0.8 kg)
Product Box Length: 13.38 in (340 mm)
Product Box Width: 9 in (229 mm)
Product Box Height: 8.75 in (222 mm)

WE ARE MISSING THE NECK SIZE. Any one know the stock diameter?

UPDATE:AEM has 5" Inch length and 9" Inch length which means I have to gut the intake box in order for the 9 inch to fit and 5" Inch would be small and possibly effect the top end hence why the Stock and K&N is larger.

O jeez

Well that answers my question. I am staying with the K&N. Will clean it out today. I don't feel like gutting my air box for the 9inch AEM Dry Flow.

The 5" will not hurt performance. My V2 has a 5" filter. I'm a huge fan of the DryFlow as they are so much easier to maintain, and from what I've read, filter better. It's the last filter you have to buy, and cleaning it takes 5 minutes and it's back on the car ready to go.

That I don't know. The neck goes around the filter not in it, so they may have a special application for the S.

Now that I look at it, they don't offer anything specific. How does the K&N mount to the pipe? Is is slip fit?
