There is a local guy sellin an aem ems for an ap1 and he's selling it for a very low price

How do I know if this aem ems is working or if the guy is just trying to scam me with a non working ems?? Any thought or ideas would be greatly appreciated I'm meeting up with the guy tonight

I'd be a bit nervous at that price. Which model is it? If that's a 1052 model that is crazy cheap. Cheapest they usually go is 800 which is what I got mine for.
Not sure how to check it out though so hopefully someone else will chime in with that.
