I have no experience with these specifically, but based upon the price I would be willing to bet the quality is not that great. Fit will probably be spotty at best, and I would not bet on them lasting long.
Though far more expensive, the best way to go is OEM.

CarID actually lists branded products, and for less money - http://www.carid.com/2004-honda-s2000-headlights/
Quality wise, I can't say. I have CG brand assemblies in other cars and they have been fine.
Why are you looking at replacements? I know some folks want new plastic lenses, and buy cheap aftermarket assemblies and then bake them apart to swap the lenses.

I don't need headlight assemblies for my S2000 right now...
The only reason I am asking is because I have the need for headlight housings for my Acura TL, and the folks over at Acurazine forums are suggesting that I get aftermarket housings from eBay...that they are more affordable and of like-quality (if not better).
With my recent need for my TL, I decided to do the same search for S2000 headlamp housings and ran into the two above... I was just wondering what the consensus was here on aftermarket housings...
Also, with the latest thread on the fact that our S2000s are getting old, I was wondering if I can count on these housings to be an affordable option when OEM headlamps become unavailable...
Anyway... Not an immediate need for me... I was just taking a temperature on it with you all...

Id just buy the type-s style ones for the TL. The projector from the TL's do not seem to be anything special. I have one too and its just meh.
If you bought those headlights I bet down the road you will kick yourself. If you buy aftermarket "OEM" style housings for the s2k, they are good for just that. I bought some "OEM" style housings and swap my AP1 projectors into them. The projectors of the aftermarkets are crap. I got mine to fit just fine though.

On the contrary... I love the OEM ones...
It's just the fact that I am in the process of replacing the housings on my daily driver, as well as the discussion on another thread about how are cars are getting old and it may be hard to find parts in the future that triggered my curiosity...
And that's all it is... research and curiosity... If I ever needed to replace my housings because of interior water damage, are there other attractive options outside of OEM if OEM becomes difficult to find (or becomes too rare and expensive)... What I am reading here is... "No"...
It's the exact opposite for my Acura TL... The guys on that forum are telling me to go aftermarket, and that purchasing OEM is like throwing money away... Surprises me a bit to be honest... I have always thought that OEM was the way most "purists" like to go...and the forums are usually full of purists...

it has nothing to do with being a purist. I know nothing about acura tl headlights and maybe there are great after market headlights for the acura tl but there has been many people that has tryed the aftermarket headlight for the s2000 and the conclusion is that they are all junk. The fitment is poor and most importantly the light output is poor due to the substandard projectors that come in the after market headlight compared to oem headlights.
