Aftermarket exhaust options

Aftermarket exhaust options
So I've had my AP2 for a year now, and really want to replace the stock exhaust.
I just wish it had a better note to it, love the sound when it hits vtec, but wish it was a bit deeper.
Been doing a lot of research online and the forums and have seemed tonsil it down between the Greddy SE dual and the Tanabe Touring Medallion.
i know this has been gone over a million times, but not sure which way to go.
would love to hear both in person if anybody in the SF Bay Area has these exhausts
whats your guys opinion on both?

Jonnytatt I'm with you on the stock exhaust, it sounds like an accord. Many members who's opinion should be well regarded like the Tanabe Touring. I personally went with the UK mod and a high flow cat and I recently got an un-prompted complement on the sound of the car at my last track day. Worth considering is that a big part of the sound this car makes is the VTEC so an intake can have as big an impact as exhaust. when it comes to noise making.
Anyway, seems like you have done research and some two choices. You won't pick up any power from the options you list so consider the other factors...look, cost, weight savings, etc...and make a call. Good luck

Best advice I can provide is to hear the exhaust you're considering from inside the car for more than 5 minutes. I personally recommend the Tanabe Medalion Touring dual exhaust behind a Berk 63.5mm high flow cat but you should still hear it for yourself. It's still loud on startup backed into my garage. The UK mod is cheap if you know a welder but is a PITA to reduce the sound if you guess wrong.

I had to make the exact same choice as you. I have a Fujitsubo Legalis. LOL
To be fair I didn't think I would be able to get the Fuji in the first place. I was ready to get the Tanabe when the Fuji came into play. Both the Tanabe and the Greddy are nice quality pieces. You won't go wrong with either/or. But as others here have said you should try to hear them for yourself live.

I second the Fuji Legalis R. It has no drone is deep enough when on it and is not annoying at all. I have this mated to a Berk HFC. When I had the Go Tuning Greddy SE V2 I wanted to take it off ASAP. It was starting to boom and drone on highway driving and anything under 30mph.

I got the Fujitsubo Legalis R since I wanted a good sound and ZERO drone.. I picked mine up from Grouppe-S over in the s2ki marketplace.
I just got a external mic setup and did a couple 1min exhaust clips driving around town. The mic is mounted w. a windsock to the license plate light wiring.
Fuji w. stock header and cat:
Fuji with stock header and Berk 63mm tp:
