Default Aftermarket header issue

Hey guys I just recently installed my private label header and have been having an issue with the header/cat, on the bottom there is a small opening between the header and the cat(in between the dounut gasket). Anybody ever have a similar problem to this and found a solution?

-Thanks

How big is the gap? Any pictures? I had a similar issue with my header(non Private Label) but all it took was a little tug and wiggle. Make sure that the gasket is properly in place and not backward or something. Hope this helps.

Sorry this post is unrelated and doesn't help you at all, but... are you on NSXprime? I am fairly certain there is someone on the forum that has your login name.

^the opening is big enough that I can stick a flat head screw driver in it. I even tried taking the springs off the cat and adding a spacer to close it and it still leaked air. and for the 2nd post sorry im not on nsxprime =)

Well the gasket is kinda V shaped if I remember correctly. Are you sure that it is seated in the right way?

the issue here is that the header does not have that extra lip that the oem header has to bring the donut gasket closer to the test pipe / cat.
