Certain features need to remain OEM when it comes to safety. Non-original equipment gets flagged if the difference is obvious

^Pretty sure those are custom made but maybe not. I wouldn't be surprised if it would be legal in Florida. They seem fairly lax on registration.

I am fairly certain I remember reading that customized headlights are technically against federal law (kinda like having blue or red flashing lights on a car) and are not allowed anywhere. Now, that is not well enforced judging by the idiots with crap HID "retrofits" that blind us all over the road, or those stupid super blue or pink headlights (which are 100% illegal everywhere). It is legal to make HID retrofit kits, but not legal to install them into housings made for another type of lighting. This is one rule I actually support. So many people make their cars headlights either useless or blinding to other people because of crap retrofits. I wish they enforced those rules more. And I am not a big rule guy :P
