Default Air Filter

hi everyone,

I was wondering to see if any of you is currently using an after market Filter only ? I have a K&N filter only hooked up to the stock piping and sits inside the air box where the stock filter sits .

I tried to remove the top air box so the filter sucks more air and hopefully sounds even better, but unfortunately when I remove the top part I can hear a loud annoying sound that comes from the intake . when I put the stock box cover on they it gets a lot more quieter.

anyways. just wondering to see if there are any better Filters out there that sound nice and sucks better air after removing the stock air box ?

Ive seen some good reviews on K&N Fipk but im trying to not spend 300 for an intake system thanks ..

Damn. U know this guy didn't do a search.

Op, I hate to say it but do a search. It's actually better to go google.com then type "official intake thread s2ki". But a short answer is yes there r other filters out there. And personally. Unlike the sound of the k&n drop in filter with the lid off. What I don't like is the heat soak.

Probably the most common newb thread. That's how it sounds without cover and you will lose power that way.
