Send payments to : Gladfab@gmail.com

Update:

I've made my first payment on the Silver level sponsorship program. So hold off on the combined purchases for now. I plan to do a group buy for the strut tower braces as well as for my cooling plates pretty well as soon as this is done. The strut tower bars dont pack well with the diffusers so they would likely have to ship separately anyways.

Jordan.

Discount level so far: 13 members pre paid = 19.5%

G.B price achieved so far - $281.75 - shipped

Amount due after deposit if group buy ended today - $181.75

If anyone between or including Seattle and Vancouver wanted to come by the shop with an AP2 for a test fitting, I and the AP2 owners would be much obliged. I could swing a pretty good deal on the diffuser and free installation as well. Please PM me if you're in the area and are interested. Our shop is about 30 mins from Vancouver, BC and/or Bellingham, WA.

Here's the info from page 9 and 10 for the lazy fools who don't want to read. Can we get a mod or the OP to add this to the first post?

Alright, let me outline what we've kinda come up with for a group buy so far. This isnt written in stone, but it should get things moving.

1. Price will be based on a single purchase price of $350 shipped, discount applied with be 1.5% per buyer up until May 10th.

2. Paypal payments of $100 can be made to gladfab@gmail.com to reserve a spot in the group buy.

3. On May 10th, I will let you know how many people have paid deposits to the group buy and the remainder of the payment will be required. If less than 5 people send deposits, I will give you the opportunity to have a refund, if more than 5 participate, the $100 will be non-refundable!!!!

4. I should be able to ship them all within the week of the 10th, so they should all be sent on the 15th or 16th and will take 7-9 business days to arrive. If you want one faster, I can quote for USPS priority mail shipping, its roughly $40 more than the set price.

5. The group buy will be for the Type B diffusers (flush mounted with 4 fins), all models AP1 and AP2, in gloss or wrinkle black. Please specify a finish when you purchase, if you dont specify, or you just say "black", I will send wrinkle black. The diffuser kit will include the new cross brace for forward mounting, all stainless hardware with rubber insulating stainless washers.

You guys can start sending payments right away, include your S2Ki user name with your payment, and I will keep a list of who's paid and what the current discount is.

It may not have been posted in the original layout of the group buy but the cap will be at 20 buyers, more people can buy but the discount will hit a ceiling at -30%. ($245 shipped/ea) assuming we can get that many buyers in 10 days. There will be a little tolerance on the deadline of the group buy, but once the group buy is finished the sale price will go back to the original.

so with the participation being greater than expected (probably going to round off around 20, maybe more) will the eta on arrival be delayed and if so how long do you think.

Its limited to 20, if you don't get in by 20 then your paying the full price. It sounds like he is fully prepared for a full order of 20

This is incorrect. The discount is limited to 30% which can only be obtained with 20 or more buyers. He specifically stated that more orders can be placed and will get the discounted price, they just have to happen by the deadline.

Ah, I stand corrected I was confused by the "cap will be at 20 buyers" line

That probably wasnt as clear as it could be. I dont think having 20+ buyers will delay shipment much if at all. I will be hiring in additional help to get through a lot of the finishing and prep. for powder coating so it won't really make a difference.

I will ship based on the order of receipt of the remaining payments, and I should still have them all sent by the following weekend.

Edit, now that I have the first post on the page, just to make it clear, there is no cap on the group buy as far as quantity. The cap was merely at the group discount level of 30%. If we get 20+ buyers the price will be $245 shipped, and I'll sell as many as I recieve deposits for by the end of the 10th. If we reach the 20 person cap I can be a bit more forgiving about letting people slip under the door if they want to send full $245 payments on the 11th and 12th but that will be it once we start shipping these.
