I took off the diffuser and one of the screws scraped on the ground at some point making it impossible to remove with the key.

I used a smaller size key and all was well.

I assume all you guys that are scraping are significantly lowered? I have gone over some fairly rough roads and inclines and haven't scraped yet but then again I am stock

A smaller key for me was too small. One of my holes were even filled with dirt. But i understand where hes coming from bolts might just snap off.

You guys must have some terrible roads in your areas. I've driven over 10K miles with my diffuser on and I'm dropped 2". I recently had the car on the hoist and didnt see a single scrape mark on the diffuser and I ride some pretty rough roads.

If you manage to smear the top of the cap screw, you can always resort to using a vise grip to fold the washer and just grap the entire fastener.

As for the side pieces comment, I definately didn't want to take this long, but I've been too busy. I have to focus on getting out parts that are already paid for before I can move onto new things, but they are definately high on my priority list. And if it makes you feel any better, I've been driving around for a month with only 1 side piece on my car, I haven't even had time to put the other side on my own car

Hey,

Finally got around to installing my rear diffuser.
It looks great, however I am getting all sorts of rattling from the diffuser, particularly at low RPMs - just off idle.

I tried tightening all the hex bolts down, and I added some insulating foam strips between the large overlap of the two pieces, but I'm still getting lots of rattle.

Any ideas for getting rid of the rattling noise?
