Hey Mike, there honestly isn't much people can help you with in your situation. There are some aftermarket headers out there for the s2000 that do nothing in regards for performance, especially without a tune. By not knowing what brand header you bought may have been a mistake since people have supposedly lost power, or didn't gain anything with certain brands, and no name ones.

Did you do any measurements on it such as the size of the primaries and collector?

yea, its hard to tell how much power you will make with a random header.

is it even for the s2k?

the only thing you may find is different is the sound.

Take some measurements and we should be able to let you know if it SHOULD, not will, make any power gains. If there are any it will be very minimal without a tune/exhaust/test pipe.

Yeah i'm betting that the guy is buying cheapo Ebay headers and selling them to people for a profit. Go ahead and measure the primaires and the end collector and let us know what they are. Also if you are going to be putting it on your car, make sure the welds look good. The welds on a header can crack pretty easily if not done right due to the heat.

If anything you'll get a slightly different tone, but all potention gains will remain untapped until a tune with an aftermarket EMS
