Default Anybody see this yet?

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone has seen this yet or tried it out on their AP2? Im wondering what HP gains woudl be like with this.

http://www.aj-racing.com/catalog/product.p...3&cat=91&page=4

Also,

Im kind of looking into this J's N1 ECU. All i have is a K&N intake and T1R test pipe, so am I going to get much out of this unit??

Also, does it require tuning or is it pre-tuned?

Anyone ahve some testimonials on it?

thanks.

If your not going to be of some use, then keep your comments to yourself.

This site is known members repeatedly helping others with issues or questions asked numerous times. I, and im sure many others, would like to keep it that way.

A TB won't give much increase...it is not a restriction point in the s2k intake system. The TB is taking all the air in that the engine can use without FI.

It can make a difference with FI however where a larger TB can allow a larger air charge into the intake manifold.

not necessarily true, there are people on here who have dyno'd gains with larger throttle bodies, however they have also port matched the intake manifold to fit flush with that size TB.

As for the J's N1... its a waste of time unless you have all J's parts. All cars are different if you want to spend money do it the right way, go get a piggy back and have it tuned. Id suggest an emanage ultimate + a tune.

This throttle body is already port matched, thus not having to do anything with the manifold. I could be wrong, but I believe this is a new Spoon TB which is why I was asking if anyone here has one and if they had any good results.

Ive been looking into the Greddy E-manage ulitimate and was going to search here to see if anyone has had any problems with it or if there is any possibility of doing more damage to the engine then good??

Would love to see those posts. The only one posts I've seen with a TB was installed with other mods, so the gains from the TB weren't isolated.

No, port match the opening of the intake manifold (where the TB bolts to it) to the same size as the TB itself.

Get the spoon tb they have started using the venturi style. larger throttle opening smaller butterfly and larger behind the butterfly. creates a nice venturi effect gives you more velocity which is what you want
