Default Anyone have experience with this?

http://axidworks.com/S2000%2000%20to...arbon%20Kevlar

I dont know the company and I don't know what brand this clutch is.

I will be pulling my transmission to replace it with an ap2 soon and while I'm in there I'm going to replace the clutch and flywheel.

Anyone try this or point me to a safe cost efficient clutch kit.

Thanks.

Save a couple hundred more and get a decent clutch. Who knows what the quality of that thing is, and how long it will last. A clutch is something I really wouldnt cheap out on.

it isn't a matter of how much more power it can hold. the most popular clutches for the s2k are the SOS and ACT. bother only have increased clamping force of 30% - 45% I believe. If the clamping force is to much it would be difficult to drive.

as suzuka said I would buy something with proven reliability. If their is a failure with the part it could cause sever damage to the car. Are you going to trust those parts spinning at 9000 RPM a few feet away from you?

not to mention a clutch replacement is very involved and takes a lot of time. you don't disassemble the entire car just to install a crappy part. If it was an intake or exhaust component it would be a different story but when it comes to parts like drive train, engine, braking, and steering I wouldn't be cheap.

100%. I'm saving for the SOS sport clutch since the SOS clutches have very good reviews. ACT ones also have good reviews so that wouldnt be a bad choice either. It would suck to go through all the work to install that sucker, then not soon after having something go wrong. That just means you got to pay extra for a decent clutch (which you should have done in the first place) and having to go through all that work all over again when you could have done it all in the beginning and saved a lot of time, effort, and cash. When doing things such as a clutch, it's best to do it right the first time or you will most likely be regreting it down the road.

f1 racing clutches are typically junk. I have seen everything from the springs fall out during shipping to warped clutch disks from that company.
