Default AP1 2003-2004 Front Bumper and Headlight Conversion

For anyone who is curious if the '04 bumper and headlights would fit on an '03 and below say no more, it can be done. My 03 got in an accident (front and back) so instead of replacing it with the same parts I got the '04 bumper and headlights instead and best idea i ever had. Car looks brand new, everything was a direct bolt on. The headlights bolted right in, but the case had to be modified to fit the '03 ballast. The bumper had to have different holes drilled in them since the holes were placed in different area. Parts courtesy of hardtopguy.com.

Thanx man, Might pass on the taillights and use money for another mod. Insurance paid for everything I had done.

I hope you cut, hammered or replaced the front bumper support.

That front bumper support was destroyed so it got replaced. Body shop took care of all of that.

What he is saying is that with an '04 bumper, you need the '04 bumper support. If the shop used an '00-'03 bumper support with an '04 bumper, you might develop some creasing / dimpling of the front bumper. The '00-'03 support sticks out farther at the ends, so it needs to be cut (or hammered) when running a newer style bumper over it.

Good point, but the shop I took the car to was able to flawlessly install it for me as you can see in the photo.
