Default Aligning headlights and bumper

Has anyone had problems aligning headlights and bumper?
I can't seem to get mine to fit just right.
The left headlight sticks out and the right one keeps pinching against the bumper...

I had the same problem when replaced mine recently. I found that the best way to do it is to get all the bolts started loosely. From there you can kinda tighten the various points as needed to get the lights to sit right.

Yeah, it is. Esp. if you've already bolted the bumper back on.

I recently had the passenger headlight replaced and now the fit and alignment isn't as good as it used to be. The weird thing is, is that it looks like they were able to replace the headlight housing without removing the bumper. I'm going to have to tackle it here soon and try to adjust fitment.

I don't believe it's possible to replace a housing without removing the bumper. Maybe they just loosened the bumper and pulled it off one side, but even then it'd be tough to get to all the bolts and things holding the light in. There are about eight bolts that hold the headlight if I remember correctly, and you have to take a metal brace off to get to it.

I thought that I would bring this thread back to life as I noticed tonight on my ride home that my passenger light was moving. When I did get home I noticed that the top portion of the light seems to be loose, as it can be pushed back into the fender. Are there bolts that came loose that just need re-tightening? Do I have to remove the front bumper to inspect? I've done to searching and this was the only thread that I've found pertaining to my situation.... Could someone please let me know what I should check / do? Thank you very much in advance!

You have to remove the bumper and inspect.

I'll give that a try. Is there a write up on how to take off the bumper, search gives me weird results with nothing definitive. I just want to make sure that I'm doing this properly... I have the tools I just need a place to start.... Thank you though! Any other help, links, etc. would be great. I think it might be time to buy the factory manual though. Thanks all!
