i want to use the spoon filter and it says its ap1 only. can i use ap1 airbox in a ap2?

 

All of the filters that work in the OEM airbox will work on any year.

 

for some reason i thought the ap2 airbox didnt have the hole in it where the nipple looking thing on the end of the filter goes into

 

I had the OEM 02 airbox in my ap1 when I got it, and then later bought an OEM airbox from an 05 (sold my original one) and it was identical. I know the 06+ arm may be different just because it doesnt have an airpump and has the port for the extra sensor, but the actual airbox's are the same from what I know.
