Default Ap1 headlights on AP2

I always read people placing ap2 headlamps on their ap1 but never see the opposite.
Reason is i want the jdm headlamps. So if anyone has done it does it bolt on without any modifications?
Also will I need ap1 lamp sockets for the bulbs?

My friend had to do it when he imported his S back to Japan ... That's all I know. I doubt there is any major modification except the ballast wiring deal.

Everything is plug and play and bolts right up.

You'll need ap1 ballasts, but the connectors are the same.

JDM headlamps focus the beams towards the left side of the road, unlike the right side of the road on USDM lights, as long as you are good with that everything else should work fine.
