wanna buy ap2 oem lip.. finally found one w/o black rubber mold. what s that piece for ?
it come with all nuts and bolts but seller said i dont need tape.. any idea ?

 

get the weatherstrip. it's not totally necessary but it keeps out a lot of junk, cleans up the transition from bumper to lip and also prevents paint scratching between lip and bumper, should you ever want to switch to another lip.

 

Yeah, it really improves the overall look of the lip and protects the bumper. Its pretty cheap to buy directly from Honda and easy to put on. There's a thread floating around that has the part numbers in it. Some people chose to use some from Toyota instead.
