I think I could go 245/40-17 no problem if I could find a wheel I liked but since this size works for me I stayed with this size tire now for over 100k miles.

Good to know. Again, I’m not exactly sure what my alignment is now, but I’m currently on my 245-40s now, and I don’t rub in the front. I only get small rub in the rear on very large dips/bumps.

Tomorrow, when I get my alignment, I’ll need to see what it’s currently at, and I probably won’t adjust camber, just caster and toe depending.

If your rubbing out back its because of your wheels if you have an AP2. My rear tires are 1" taller than yours and I don't rub at all. We load our S with a full trunk when we travel(last trip was 8300 miles in 30 days) and my wife and I weigh 380 lbs and we still don't rub front or back. That is why I still have stock wheels, just can't find one that will work and I one that looks good to me.

Max out your camber assuming oem suspension. No half measures if grip is what your after. I don’t understand the logic of going square with cheap ass tires (maybe not your case) and -1 camber. Sure square you can rotate your tires but imo 255s all around is not going to leviate snap oversteer(which is always driver induced) but make the speed you are going when it occurs higher

Yeah. They are fairly aggressive . I didn’t purchase them. So unfortunately I don’t know the offset. They are 9 inches wide, but they’re also aggressive. Look really good though. I had the option to keep these wheels (rota) or Keep oem when I purchased it, and I prefer these. So far so good though. Still very livable

Off topic... but remember what I said about Honda engineers... I take it back.. trying to remove the starter... and I physically can’t.. what a joke!!! It’s unbolted, disconnected just cant “finesse” it out because I live in a physical world where solid objects can’t pass through other solid objects.. dang.. I strongly discourage anybody from doing their own starter replacement

Got the starter out and replaced. Never knew where the knock sensor was. But thankfully didn’t damage it.

I have not gotten an alignment yet, but with the new tires, the tram-lining effect is nearly completely gone. I look forward to see what my current alignment is as my previous tires had significant wear on the inside
