i didnt notice much differnece when i put my invidia on, either. only a slightly throatier tone around 2k to 4.5k rpms. a bit louder overall though. now the TP with a greddy single, that sounds freakin sick!

^^ jimmy is right! his exhaust does sound sick. anyways, a tp will make it slightly throatier. if i can remember it sounds nothing like stock at wot, but at cruising then i would have to agree with the op and say yeah it does sound stock.

res tp sounds best. picked one up on ebay 4 years ago, i think it is a megan or a megan knock off. Its held up nicely and sounds great with my Tanabe

I like the way it sounds with the test pipe too, the only thing I don't like is the smell when I come to a stop.

might be off topic but is there a TP that wont make your car sound raspy/ricey?

ive seen some video comparisons on the s2k with and without TP. all of the videos with TP's had that rice sound when WOP and thats something i cant stand

res tp helps and also depends on what cat back your running, stock and a tp isnt going to sound all that high dollar if you know what I mean, and some guys cut the stock res off and then it really sounds ricey. INMO one of the best sounding set ups is mine if I dont say so myself hahah. I got lucky.

Stock header, res TP and Tanabe concept G cat back FTW and when I put the SC on, that higher pressure really made it over the top in a good way.
