Default AP2 Center Console Differences

Can anyone outline, and possibly supply pics, of all of the differences between the difference versions of the AP2 console? From what I understand there is the 2004 that came in silver and at some point switched to black. The 2006+ which I believe added the defrost button, and the CR. This correct? Thanks.

Can anybody help me find the part number for the plastic piece for the defrost/hazard/top buttons? I am unable to find it on any parts site. What is diagramed is the one without the defroster.

In order to reduce cost Honda resized the Hazard Warning button hole when they did the AP2 (so AP2 is same hole for roof and hazard while AP1 is not). To do this plug and play mod you need the front section, cup holder, armrest and AP2 hazard warning button. The inserts can be had in black and silver. It's a very easy mod and will work over OEM carpet or Rick's Leather.

Bringing up an old topic bu I've done some searches and can't confirm that I need a new leather armrest bit as it won't fit the ap1 armrest.
Pretty sure that the above comment says that but just to confirm that I do need one.
