Default Hub rings?

Hello guys, so just wondering what everyone's views are about hub rings

I had plastic hub rings on my last set of wheels, which broke after I took the wheels on and off a few times, but they did fine considering they came from the last owner and don't know how long he had them and they were already cracked when I got them.
Pros: they are cheap, don't get stuck
Cons: not as durable

My friend as aluminum hub rings, but he doesn't like it cause they stuck on his hubs from rust.
Pros: durable
Cons: A lil more expensive, can get stuck

I already know the bore sizes for the front and rear and I think it is pretty standard that most aftermarket wheels have a 73.1mm bore

Any input is appreciated!

Plastic. Theyre cheap easy to remove and replace.
