Does anyone know if you can just transplant the little part of the late model AP2 (with VSA)into an older model AP2 without VSA? i want to use that defrost button for something but i dont want to buy the entire thing for like 3 bills.

anyone know if you can just pop one out and put the other in?

 

There's nothing VSA about the center console. You have your defroster, shifter, hazard, roof switch. There were some aesthetic design changers, but as far as I'm aware of the physical construction in terms of dimensions and it's holding tabs never changed.

 

oops, thjats right. i have a non VSA AP2 so i wasnt quite sure what buttons are where
